１９６０年代後半にはハムの免許取得が社会的なブームになりつつあった。中学の同級生には従事者免許保有者が１０名誕生し、その内６名が実際に開局したのである。

　実は私の開局申請は書類不備のため手続きが大幅に遅れた。私が局免許を得たのは結局１９７０年４月、クラスの中では最後だったが、とても嬉しかったことを鮮明に記憶している。そして、我々共通のバンドである５０ＭＨｚでのラグチューや移動通信実験は楽しい思い出となっている。



License acquisition of ham was getting a social boom in the second half in 1960 's. 10 practitioner license carriers were born for a classmate of a junior high school, and 6 people started the service actually soon.

Actually, the procedure was greatly delayed because of incomplete document of my opening application to authorities. It's remembered clearly that it was last in the class after all that I got my license of JA0IXX in April 1970. But it was wonderful and I was very pleased. Ragchew and the communication experiment with them on 50MHz band were very interesting and fun.
